Leeds Book Fair at Pudsey

Thank you to booksellers and customers alike who attended the Leeds Book Fair on February 2 and a huge thank you to the staff of Pudsey Civic Hall who made the fair so easy to organise.

The next fair is on the 6th April and already almost all the stalls are booked.

More than 40 sellers have booked tables to stand at the next fair so it promises to be a great event with plenty of choice for buyers. Mark Johnson from Bradford will be on the stage. Refreshments will be available, parking on Sundays is free and access to the hall is flat! The opening times for this fair are: 9.00am for trade (with a trade card please unless you are personally known to the organisers), 9.30am for the general public and the fair will close at 3.30pm.

Admission costs will remain the same at 1.00 (concessions – 60p) and under 16s will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Access to a new map is available on the website.

We are pleased to welcome a stall organised by the charity Emmaus, Leeds which cares for formerly homeless people and all profits from that stall will go towards furthering its work info@emmausleeds.org.uk

Unfortunately the illustrator, Peter David Scott will now not be exhibiting at the fair. He has a slipped disc and we wish him a speedy recovery. His place will be taken by Judi and Don of Nicol Books and Ephemera.
