Leeds Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who came to the Leeds Christmas Book Fair
at the beginning of December and thank you too to the Chippendale
singers from Otley who entertained the customers in the Café with
Christmas music. This year we were luckier with the weather and
the fair was well attended by buyers and book sellers. Thank you also
to the Thoresby Society for taking a stand
Thank you too to Sarah and martin from Sarah’s Tea Room in Otley
for the excellent catering throughout 2011.
There were joint winners of the book quiz at this fair; Meg Morton
from Otley and Eileen Mann from Cheshire. They both received a
book token of £5.00.
Please note that the next fair, the first in 2012, will be on 12th
February, the SECOND Sunday of the month and a good time
to stock up on reading materials for the rest of the winter. There
is nothing like curling up with a good book when the weather is
miserable or cold outside.
