Leeds Book Fair at Pudsey

hank you to booksellers and customers alike who braved the cold weather and attended the Leeds Book Fair on 1st February and a huge thank you to the staff of Pudsey Civic Hall who have made the fair so easy to organise throughout the year. It was a good to see Phil Sowry again with his Observer Books and also Kick Off Programmes with its collection of sports books and programmes www.kickoffprogrammes.com

The next fair is on the 12th April. After many years absence there will be a welcome return to the fair from Keith Hosmer with his Vintage Mags for the magazine collectors amongst you. I am assured by Keith that there will be a huge array of topics from which to choose. Refreshments will be available, parking on Sundays is free and access to the hall is flat! The opening times for this fair are: 9.00am for trade (with a trade card please unless you are personally known to the organisers), 9.30am for the general public and the fair will close at 3.30pm.

Admission costs will remain the same at 1.00 (concessions – 60p) and under 16s will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Access to a new map is available on the website.

The charity Emmaus, Leeds which cares for formerly homeless people will be standing again and all profits from that stall will go towards furthering its work info@emmausleeds.org.uk
