Leeds Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who attended the Leeds Book Fair on May 5th.
Congratulations to Chris Peers of Mainly Fiction for winning the Book quiz
and also to Lisa Hamilton of Cafe Village in Calverley for providing us
with delicious refreshments.

Unfortunately the traffic wardens were out again in force and several
customers found themselves with parking tickets for parking outside the
bays. These are clearly marked and there are several notices around the car
park advising drivers of the penalties. There is also parking at the side of
Horsforth Park. If you have to park at a distance and have a lot of books
to carry away please ask for help and I am sure there would be someone to
help convey your purchases to your car.

The next fair is on the 4th August and there are still tables available for
this event. If you would like to book please find my contact details on this
website. You do not have to be a professional bookseller to sell at this fair.
Several members of the public have sold collections that have been in their
families for some time and one very enterprising young man sold books to
raise money for his gap year abroad. Nevertheless, if you do decide to do
this it is best to take some advice from one of our professional sellers about
pricing.
